MEET THE EXPERTS

DR. CHRISTIAN ALVAREZ D.C.

Founder & Executive Performance Specialist

Dr. Christian Alvarez is the founder of Complete Performance Center (CPC) and the creator of its performance-based approach to rehabilitation and recovery. For more than 25 years, he has worked with professional athletes, elite competitors, high school athletes, active adults, and patients who simply want to move and feel better.

He developed CPC’s BioKinetic Triad: Structure → Motion → Function, an approach that integrates biomechanics, rehabilitation, recovery, strength, and performance into a coordinated patient strategy.

Today, Dr. Alvarez continues to lead CPC with a simple goal: help people move beyond symptom management and return to the activities that define their lives—whether that's competing professionally, playing golf, training in the gym, working without pain, or keeping up with their family.

His philosophy: You don't have to be a professional athlete. You just deserve to be treated like one.

Throughout his career, Dr. Alvarez has worked alongside leading physicians and sports medicine professionals and has provided care at some of the highest levels of competition, including AVP Pro Volleyball, the PRCA Professional Rodeo Circuit, X Games, Dew Tour, USA Taekwondo, Ironman, and other elite sporting events.

Those experiences helped shape the philosophy behind CPC: treat every patient like a professional athlete. Rather than focusing only on where it hurts, Dr. Alvarez believes in understanding the entire system—how the body moves, where it has become limited, and what needs to be rebuilt for long-term function.

RYAN DENIHAN

Athletic Trainer | Head of Rehabilitation

Ryan Denihan leads rehabilitation at Complete Performance Center, bringing more than 20 years of experience coaching, training, and mentoring athletes from the youth and high school levels through collegiate and professional competition.

At CPC, Ryan takes a highly hands-on approach to rehabilitation. He works closely with patients to restore movement, rebuild strength and stability, correct biomechanical weaknesses, and progressively prepare the body for the demands of everyday life or sport.

At CPC, Ryan helps bring the final stages of our philosophy to life:

MOTION → FUNCTION → PERFORMANCE.

A former multisport athlete and collegiate volleyball player at California State University, Northridge, Ryan developed an early understanding of the importance of biomechanics, sport-specific training, and developing the entire athlete—not simply treating an injury.

Ryan is especially passionate about identifying movement deficiencies before they become recurring problems. His programs are results-focused, sports-science supported, adaptable to the individual, and centered on long-term injury prevention and performance.

Whether working with an injured adult trying to return to an active lifestyle or an athlete preparing to return to competition, Ryan’s goal is the same: build a stronger, more resilient body that is prepared for what comes next.
