We work with many kinds of patients at the office. Migraine sufferers have become more common recently and I wanted to write this because many people are suffering, and they don’t need to be.
A common comment I hear from my migraine sufferers is that when they feel it coming on, they go to sleep-robbing them of the day. Migraines are a hard ailment to quantify. I have migraine patients that are what we deem a “typical migraine sufferer” and then I have ones that would not be considered “Atypical migraine sufferers.” These are the patients that have various atypical symptoms including:
- Tooth sensitivity
- Heat intolerance
- TMJ pain/dysfunction
Many patients need specialized care. At our office, we go through a very comprehensive examination and identify hidden flaws in your body’s ability to be efficient. We will focus on airway issues, TMJ, posture, muscle balance, and function. We find that there are at least 3 to 4 factors that are limiting your ability to function and that are direct contributors to the migraine triggers. We natural principles of healing that the body innately recognizes. Healing the body and reducing the number of migraine triggers. Each person is different and there is no simple plan. Each case is different, but I can tell you that once we find the bodies dysfunctional pattern and start to reverse it. The healing process starts. And most patients feel the positive effects.
Migraines are debilitating and rob people of the joy of life. If you have tried other treatment plans and did not find relief, you may want to call our office and schedule a consultation. We may be able to give you the answers to the questions you have been searching for. Wishing you a happy and healthy life!
