Your First Visit to Our Thousand Oaks Practice

You will be warmly welcomed and made to feel at home. Help is on its way!

New patients often remark how “homey” our office is. That’s good, because our goal is to offer state-of-the-art chiropractic care in a comfortable surrounding.

Make Yourself at Home

At WellnessOne, you’ll find plenty of convenient parking and a well-lit parking lot. You’ll be greeted by name when you enter our office and given a short tour to get you acquainted with our facilities.

If you’ve already completed your admitting paperwork, great! If not, after doing so you'll meet Dr. Chris Alvarez and any other staff member who is dedicated to serving you.

We Explain Everything First

The purpose of your consultation with the doctor is to discuss your health goals and see if WellnessOne is likely to help you. If it looks promising, a thorough examination will help identify the cause of your problem.

Patients appreciate that we explain everything in advance!

Dr. Chris Asks some important questions of interest to Thousand Oaks residents - Chiropractor Thousand Oaks Dr. Chris Asks...

What's the purpose of a surgeon's mask?
When I ask most people in Thousand Oaks this, most think it protects the patient from the doctor's germs. But it's so porous it does little to prevent the passage of germs. We chiropractors don't bother with masks.
Why are chiropractors wary of the germ theory?
Louis Pasteur originated the idea that germs caused disease. Yet, on his deathbed he recanted, declaring, "It's not the seed, but the soil." Meaning, it's not the germ that causes disease, but the condition of the body that allows the germ to thrive. Chiropractic care in our Thousand Oaks office is designed to bolster your resistance so germs don't see you as a good host.
